Kayaking is fun for a lot of people. Who wouldn’t love to watch the sunset on a cool evening while floating on a calm sea in a kayak? Or what could compare to the adrenaline-pumping thrill of maneuvering your kayak around rocks and obstacles on the challenging whitewater?
With all the excitement that comes with kayaking alone, it comes as no surprise to see that kayaking is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States according to a study carried out by National Sporting Goods Association.

Why Do I Need to Register My Kayak?
Just like it is with cars and other properties, you would have to register your kayak and obtain a launch permit before you can set out on any of the water bodies in the States to kayak.
Registering and Obtaining your Launch Permit
If you wish to register in Pennsylvania with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC), I have compiled a list of agents where you can register and obtain your launch permit in Pennsylvania.
Where to Obtain a Launch Permit
There are quite a number of counties in Pennsylvania where you could get yourself a launch permit. I apparently can’t list all the agents in each country but I would definitely mention some here.
